Relax and Enjoy Christmas this Year by Isla Campell

Christmas - it's a time of good will and cheer, where the whole family gathers round to spread warmth and love and so on before a roaring fire. At least, that's one way of looking at it. Let's face it, the truth is that Christmas is one of the most stressful holidays of the year. There's just so much to do that you end up being frantic by the time you think you've taken care of everything - and that's before you find out there's at least three things you've forgotten.

With the buying of presents, the planning and cooking of a huge feast, the hosting of a family party (and having to ensure that everybody in the family is getting along) it's no wonder that many people end up looking to Christmas Day with a certain feeling of dread. But what can you do?

Well, it actually turns out that there is something else you can do. It's as simple as getting somebody else to do it while you simply relax and enjoy spending time with your loved ones. If you want to avoid the stress and strain of Christmas cooking and clean-up this year, why not whisk yourselves off on a Christmas break that will allow you to sit back and enjoy while attentive staff ensure your Christmas meal goes off without a hitch? There are plenty of hotels in many locations that offer Christmas break packages, which invite you and your loved ones to spend a few nights in their opulent hotel suites, perhaps enjoying some live music and comedy every night, eat three delicious meals a day and, of course, enjoy a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings on the day itself.

Spending Christmas at a hotel may sound strange at first, but when you think about it, there could be nothing more enjoyable. You won't have to worry about hosting a big party, nor do you have to clean up or cook for anybody else. And if you and the whole family choose to book into the hotel for a joint Christmas break, you'll still get to enjoy the Christmas holiday you'd been looking forward to.

Relax and enjoy Christmas this year on Christmas breaks and you could end up wondering why you haven't been doing it like that every year!
